Job Function Join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading Internet of Everything (Gaming box / DMA / IP Camera / Robotics) device
makers to design, develop and launch exciting new Qualcomm MSM products. The Linux BSP Customer Engineer will work closely with Qualcomm customers to:
-Understand customer requirements and designs
-Analyze Linux kernel and Android user space code
-Co-develop custom solutions on Linux Android
-Debug and resolve system level functional and stability issues
Skills/Experience The candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams worldwide including chip, platform, product and software development teams to
support customers during system design, board bring-up, continuous integration, stabilization, optimization, product launch and maintenance release stages.
Prior experience in Qualcomm MSM products is preferred.
-Excellent High level language (C, C++, Java) skills
-Experience in software development on Mobile/Linux/Embedded platforms including compiling, linking, loading, executing and debugging firmware images
-Prior experience on Linux Kernel 3.x
-Experience in 32-bit and 64-bit ARM Architecture and Assembly Programming
-System level debugging with JTAG Trace 32
-Excellent written and verbal skills in English
-Strong background in customer engagement, issue tracking and problem resolution
