Senior Software Engineer: Firewall Service

The successful individual will embody many of the following attributes:

4.Capable of taking a lead role in investigating new technologies
5.Have the ability to understand how Juniper's security software can be leveraged for use across Juniper's product line
6.Be able to overcome challenges that may arise due to the multi-time-zone, multi-national nature of the team
7.Work at a higher profile than what is typically expected of a senior software engineer

You will be working on:
1.Cloud based firewall policy control system
2.Design and conduct unit tests
3.Handle customer issues and deal with maintenance releases
4.Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages
5.Complete development tasks by coordinating requirements, schedules and activities
6.Contribute to knowledge sharing with local and remote teams
7.Proactively improve features without direct guidance
8.Enhance and support existing products to address immediate customer needs and challenges on an as-needed basis

Required Experience and Skills:
1. M.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
2. 5+ years’ experience with C and embedded networking systems
3. Strong design/architecture skills and experience on complex software solutions
4. Proven and direct experience in implementing products in one or more of the following areas: packet forwarding, firewall policy, content security,authentication and screening
5. Excellent C programming and debugging skills in developing networking applications, networking modules and protocols
6. Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
7. Good presentation skills and problem solving skills
8. Strong verbal and written communication skill in both English and Mandarin
9. Network security experience is a plus
